HUMAN SERVICES TRANSPORTATION PLAN FOR THE OKANOGAN REGION

OCOG maintains a Human Services Transportation Plan (HSTP). This plan looks at the mobility needs of people who don’t drive due to age, income, or disability, as well as the array of services available to meet those mobility needs. Transportation services may be provided by public, tribal, nonprofit, or private providers.

The aim of the HSTP is to identify available transportation services, gaps in services, and strategies that can sustain or possibly expand those mobility options for residents. This helps attract state and federal grants for projects that are tailored to meet the mobility needs of rural communities across the Okanogan Region. You can find the 2022 HSTP here.

Title VI Notice to the Public

The OCOG hereby gives public notice that it is the agency’s policy to assure full compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Civil Rights Restoration Act of 1987, and related statutes and regulations in all programs and activities. Title VI requires that no person shall, on the grounds of race, color, or national origin, be excluded from the participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be otherwise subjected to discrimination under any program or other activity for which OCOG receives federal financial assistance. For additional information regarding a subrecipient’s Title VI obligations, a public information request form must be completed and filed with the OCOG Title VI Coordinator.
