HUMAN SERVICES TRANSPORTATION PLAN FOR THE OKANOGAN REGION
OCOG maintains a Human Services Transportation Plan (HSTP). This plan looks at the mobility needs of people who don’t drive due to age, income, or disability, as well as the array of services available to meet those mobility needs. Transportation services may be provided by public, tribal, nonprofit, or private providers.
The aim of the HSTP is to identify available transportation services, gaps in services, and strategies that can sustain or possibly expand those mobility options for residents. This helps attract state and federal grants for projects that are tailored to meet the mobility needs of rural communities across the Okanogan Region. You can find the 2022 HSTP here.
OCOG is updating the HSTP in 2026. Want to know more about this update or the Consolidated Grant process it supports? Get in touch and we’ll add you to our information list. And keep an eye on this web page for data and insights along the way.
